As someone who’s traveled through over 20 Asian countries, this 8-day Tibet tour is easily one of the best organized adventures I’ve ever joined. The entry connection from Chengdu to Lhasa was completely seamless, and we got plenty of time to rest and acclimatize before heading west through Gyangtse and Shigatse. Sakya Monastery was such a wonderful hidden highlight that I never would have added if I planned this trip on my own. Waking up early to see Everest’s golden sunrise from near base camp is a moment I’ll carry with me forever, and our guide added so much rich context to every stop’s history and culture.

I had a fantastic overall experience hitting all the highlights from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp on this tour. My only small issue is that we visited during late December, which brought unexpected strong winds at Everest Base Camp that cut our viewing time a little short. Every other stop was absolutely breathtaking and perfectly organized.
