As a first-time visitor to China, this tour gave me the perfect introduction to two of the country's most incredible historic capitals. Our Beijing guide took us to a quiet, less touristy section of the Great Wall that had sweeping, unobstructed views and felt so peaceful. In Xi'an, our guide shared fascinating little-known facts about the Terracotta Warriors that brought the entire site to life for me. The itinerary was well-planned, never too rushed, and left plenty of room for spontaneous stops for snacks or photos. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for an intimate, stress-free way to see these iconic attractions.

We booked this tour during the Lunar New Year holiday, so I knocked off one star because all major sites were far more wonderful than we anticipated, even with advance planning. That said, our guides worked hard to find quieter viewing spots and kept the day moving smoothly. The 7-day pace was perfectly balanced, with enough downtime to try local street food and explore neighborhood markets between main attractions. Private transportation between cities, sites, and our hotels was always clean, comfortable, and right on time.

Having a private guide made this experience so much richer than any generic group tour I've been on. We never felt rushed, and all our questions about Chinese history and local culture were answered thoroughly. The ability to skip long entry lines at both the Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors saved us hours of waiting.
