I was nervous about doing a high altitude tour as a solo traveler, but this tour made everything feel so easy and safe. Starting in Lhasa gave me time to get used to the altitude and soak up the rich, peaceful cultural energy of the city before we set off on the drive to Everest. Every turn on the mountain road brought a new, jaw-dropping view, and standing at Everest Base Camp at sunrise is a moment I'll never forget. All the logistics were handled perfectly, so I could just focus on enjoying every minute of the adventure. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the best of Tibet without any of the stress of planning it yourself.

My consultant Sunny from HelloChinaTrip helped me adjust my itinerary last minute when my flight into Lhasa got delayed, and she was so helpful every step of the way. The 8-day route is perfectly paced, giving you enough time to acclimatize to the high altitude in Lhasa before heading out to Everest. Every stop felt intentional, no rushed sightseeing, and the views along the drive are some of the most spectacular I've ever seen. This is honestly the best organized adventure tour I've ever joined.

I really enjoyed every highlight of this tour, from the Potala Palace in Lhasa to the stunning mountain passes leading up to Everest. The only downside was that we encountered larger crowds than expected at Everest Base Camp during the peak spring travel window, which meant we waited a little longer than planned for our iconic photos. All the itinerary planning was flawless otherwise, and the scenery made every minute worth it. I'd still absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to check Everest off their bucket list.

Acclimatization in Lhasa was built into the start of the tour which I really appreciated, as I had no issues with altitude sickness even when we reached Everest Base Camp. The mix of cultural sites in Lhasa and dramatic mountain scenery later in the trip makes this the perfect introduction to Tibet.

The views from Everest Base Camp took my breath away. Our guide knew all the best spots to stop for photos and explained local Tibetan culture so beautifully along the way. I couldn't have asked for a better first trip to Tibet.
