This tour is worth every penny for anyone who wants to experience Tibet and Everest without the stress of independent planning.

As someone who prefers intimate adventure travel over big bus tours, this itinerary checked every single box for me. The 15-person maximum cap keeps the experience personal, and I never felt rushed or herded from stop to stop. Our guide shared so many fascinating insights into Tibetan culture and history that I never would have discovered traveling on my own. Even the base camp accommodation was far more comfortable than I expected, with warm blankets and hot drinks always available. I’m already recommending this tour to all my adventure-loving friends.

I booked this trip through HelloChinaTrip after consultant Sunny answered all my nervous questions about altitude sickness, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The itinerary was perfectly paced to let us acclimatize in Lhasa before heading out to Everest, so I never felt unpleasantly impacted by altitude. Every meal was delicious, our driver was incredibly safe on the winding mountain roads, and our small group of only 10 travelers meant we got to bond easily. This is honestly the best adventure tour I’ve ever joined, and I’d recommend it to anyone ready to check Tibet off their bucket list.

This 8-day Tibet and Everest tour exceeded every single one of my expectations.

We unfortunately had persistent cloudy weather during our entire stay at Everest Base Camp, so we never got a clear view of the peak. The tour itself was very well organized, and all the cultural stops in Lhasa were incredible and well-planned.

Small group size was perfect, and I never felt crowded even at popular Lhasa sights like the Potala Palace. Waking up to see Everest’s golden peak at sunrise is a memory I will carry with me forever.
