I loved how private and flexible this tour was - no crowded big groups to slow you down. The mix of ancient cultural sites in Lijiang and lush natural scenery around Kunming was perfectly balanced for a 10-day trip.
Yunnan has been on my travel bucket list for years, and this tour exceeded every single expectation I had. We got to try so many incredible local dishes, from Kunming's famous crossing-the-bridge noodles to Lijiang's roasted yak, and our guide always took us to small family-run spots instead of overpriced tourist traps. I learned so much about the diverse ethnic groups that call Yunnan home, and the views of the snow-capped mountains near Lijiang took my breath away. This is the perfect tour for anyone who wants to see the real Yunnan without the hassle of planning every detail themselves.
This 10-day private tour of Yunnan gave us an incredible introduction to Southwest China's unique culture and dramatic landscapes. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Naxi traditions in Lijiang and the Kunming food scene absolutely blew us away. The only downside was unseasonably heavy rain that forced us to cut our planned Jade Dragon Snow Mountain hike short. Even with that, we still had an amazing time and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Yunnan's best highlights.
